Chromebook Login Changes

 Why the Change?

This change is being implemented to ensure that our systems meet the latest security standards. The move from auto-login to a password-protected login is designed to: Protect student and staff data by requiring authorized access.

Personalize the experience for each user by loading individual profiles, apps, and settings.

Comply with district-wide technology policies aimed at creating a safer and more secure digital environment.

What Will the New Login Process Look Like?

1. Step 1: Open your Chromebook, and the login screen will prompt you to enter your Standard District Login credentials.

2. Step 2: Type in your: Example.12345@nv.ccsd.net email address and password.

3. Step 3: Click "Next" to access your Chromebook and continue with your work.

Each user will need to use their unique credentials, so remember to have these ready before Wednesday, November 6th. After logging in, you will be able to access all your saved settings, applications, and documents as usual.

What If I Don’t Know My Login Credentials?

If you don’t know your Standard District Login credentials or have trouble logging in:

Students should refer to the Adult Education welcome email sent by a CCSD counselor or contact their teacher for assistance.

How Can I Prepare for This Change?

Students are encouraged to log in today using your Standard District Login by clicking add Person, and ensure their ccsd login information is working, and so you’re familiar with the process.

Write down your district email and password in a safe, secure place.
